A while ago, I changed my Sharkey instance to only federate with instances/servers on the allowed list. Today I noticed 2 were on the errored instances list in the Federation Jobs section. How do I fix this?

Check the two domains in Moderation / Federation
For each errored instance:
Confirm it is in Allowed instances.
Confirm it is not in:
blocked instances
suspended instances
silenced instances, depending on your Sharkey UI/version
Remove it from the block/suspend list if it appears there.
This is extra important if you upgraded from or used a Sharkey 2024.9.x release, because of the allow-list/block-list bug noted above
My likely diagnosis
Because you recently changed to allowed-list-only federation, I would first check whether those two instances were accidentally also added to the block/suspend list. That exact kind of allow-list confusion was noted in Sharkey’s own release notes for the 2024.9 series.
If they are allowed and not blocked, then the errored state probably just means old failed jobs or a temporary remote-side problem. Retry once, check logs, and delete old jobs if they keep failing with 410, 404, or repeated remote 5xx
