I prefer using bookmarks - in app and on homescreen - instead of downloading apps via Google, but one problem with the browser and they are all gone...
I wanted to change AI settings and got +60 pages opening in split seconds saying web page unavailable. Unable to stop it but with deleting the app. All - incl JBS - gone...
Thank goodness they are in the f-droid library so I could send a message and screenshots. Hopefully it will be resolved soon. Kind of attached to my little ducky. 😁

Slowly changing phone from Google apps to other - preferably open source.
Now have installed Dekusms (Found it on f-droid).
I don't use it that much but since the gouvernement sends me their verification codes by SMS I noticed it stil was from Google... 😶🌫️
Takes time, sometimes I just don't understand what they are saying so I quit - and forget to continue.... - but slow progress still is progress. 🙃
Any recommendations of other (on fdroid available) apps to replace the Google apps and avoid playstore are very welcome!

MrCantankerousIf you're on Android, Google steps in and blocks apps installed via 3rd party sites, whether Play Protect is enabled or not. I hate Google, it has systematically blocked many of my favourite apps, it overrode my Google settings and randomly decided to auto update everything on my data connection, which in turn left many of my apps no longer functioning (which is why my default is to not auto update)
Catha MrCantankerous I have an android phone which has it's own OS. Now most of my Google and playstore apps are replaced by free apps. It's with trial and error - i am "a little" picky - but so far it works. 🙃

We have 3 of these (nesting) side tables. We want to get rid of the leather, but we have no idea what to do with the center to not have it 'just brown'.
No leather. No tiles. No artistic painting because I can't do that. 🤭
(They will be sanded down completely and then painted with a mate transparent brown protection, like the pinewood sample in first photo
And yes, I am aware the burned part won't be sanded away. I still liked them too much to not accept them and keep them in the family.)

Quitamos el cuero de la mesa más pequeña y raspamos cuidadosamente la madera.
Resulta que toda la superficie está hecha de una sola pieza de madera preciosa. Por ahora, pensamos teñirla de marrón. Un tono claro en el centro y el resto más oscuro.
