redegelde wow looks like alot

Catha redegelde that's the clouds 😉rain is not that much but almost continuesly since 1 this morning. 
The 100L barrel is just - 15minutes ago - filled up to about 10cm below the lid and that's all coming from a 8/9m l* 2m canopy.  
Still, the garden and agricultores will be happy 😁

Catha This pic - credits: Stan 'Piper' - shows the enormous thunderstorm above the other side of the island, the 20st, evening.  They have had 100L/m²   while we, at our side of the island, had a lot less. 
Yesterday and last night it was our turn. Late evening then tunnel that connects both sides has been closed for a short period of time for inspection.
At night, We've had our share of the storm, so this morning first thing (also our 'rush our' so I was glad I didn't need to go that part of the island, since the other route, over the mountaintop, also is closed. ) it has been partially closed due to repairs: only one side of the road was cleared for traffic but could only pass very slowly  and  under guidance, due to workers on site. So they went up, then that got closed again so traffic from the other side could come down.  
I went to the village higher up the mountain and all streets were scattered with everything between sand,  big fist-size debris. The main road of the village looked like a rural path in the woods. 🫣 
Welcome on our tiny island. Tiny enough for not having 
floods since it goes straight down to sea, but 'we' - government - still have to clean up the roads. 
*Edit* according to my husband we've had the worst thunderstorm ever, from 3 until 4 aprox. He loves thunderstorms so when he say it was bad, it was really, really BAD.
All I know is that I woke up from the severe rain and next second I was asleep again. Never ever happened before 'cause I am deadscared (traumatized) of thunderstorms 🤭
First good sleep since weeks and I missed all the 'fun'. 😂

Catha admin bizar is an understatement imo. There's still an unsolved 'dispute' - for not calling it a war -  between Rwanda and Congo.  Let's reopen Baku too then.
