I can see on the foto's that you have more then enough space to create a corner for nature😊
RnD1USI accept your valid criticism; however, the leaves from about 60 trees is overwhelming and a simple pile would just blow onto my neighbors property. I may try a caged compost heap at some point but it will need to be large. My neighbors will likely complain as burning is the only disposal method used in my rural location.

RnD1US you can start with half the leaves on a compost heap and burn the rest. Better is to leave the leaves on the grass because that is compost for the grass and is gone very soon.
It is always easyer to continue as you have done for a long time, maybe for generations, than to change your ways to a more bio-diverse way to maintain your garden.
If you start i am sure you wil get a lot back in the form of flowers and birds and butterflys etc.
