Spam… the dilemma 😅
JustBSocial doesn’t use algorithms your timeline is 100% chronological. That’s awesome for transparency, but it has one side-effect:
when someone posts 4–5 cool things in a row, it can look like spam, simply because everything is sorted by time.
We can’t “shadow hide” or “downgrade” posts like big platforms do, because that would be algorithmic sorting and that’s not who we are.
So instead of banning or deleting users, we are going to use a simple cool-down system:
More than 4 posts within 30 minutes = short posting pause.
This system is not a ban, it does not remove content, and it does not involve algorithmic ranking.
It simply ensures that everyone’s content can be seen and the timeline remains usable.
No punishment. No algorithm. No ban.
Just a small breather to keep the timeline readable for everyone. 🫶
