I've just read that you can customise the character limit on Misskey. Does anyone know how to do it? I can't find any instructions.

If you’re an admin (or running your own instance)
You change it in the server config file.
Typical steps:
Open your Misskey config (usually .config/default.yml or similar)
Look for a setting like:
maxNoteLength: 3000
Change it to whatever you want (e.g. 5000, 10000)
Rebuild/restart Misskey:
npm run build
sudo systemctl restart misskey
⚠️ Notes:
Some older versions had it more “hard-coded,” but newer versions expose it in config.
Federation: other servers may still truncate or reject overly long posts.

Due to my disability, I cannot operate normal nasal sprays by myself, so I have to get someone else to do it. It's nice to be more independent thanks to Otrivine. 🙂

That's why i love an inhaler instead of a push-with-the -thumb-thingy (for asma-meds).
xanika One minor drawback: the bottle is no longer transparent, so it's a gamble how much is left. I always carry it in my pocket, so I always check how much is left before I leave; now it's a guess.
