Wat is LanguageFeed?
LanguageFeed helpt je om berichten in jouw taal te zien.
Op JustBSocial plaatsen mensen berichten in verschillende talen. Met LanguageFeed kun jij zelf straks kiezen wat jij wilt zien.
Hoe werkt het?
Elke nieuwe post krijgt automatisch een taal-label (bijv. NL, EN, DE, …).
Daarna kun jij kiezen:
1. Mijn taal
Je ziet vooral berichten in de taal van je profiel.
Voorbeeld: Als jouw profieltaal Nederlands is, zie je vooral Nederlandse posts.
2. Alles
Je ziet alle berichten, in alle talen.
3. Eigen talen kiezen
Je kunt meerdere talen aanvinken, zoals:

Waarom is dit handig?
✔ Minder ruis: je ziet vooral wat jij begrijpt
✔ Je houdt de tijdlijn overzichtelijk
✔ Je kunt zelf bepalen welke talen je wilt volgen
✔ Internationale posts blijven beschikbaar als je dat wilt
Goed om te weten
Je eigen berichten blijven altijd zichtbaar, ongeacht taal
Publieke berichten blijven gewoon publiek
Je kunt altijd terug naar “Alles”
Je kunt je voorkeuren aanpassen wanneer je maar wilt

What is LanguageFeed?
LanguageFeed helps you view posts later on in the languages you understand.
On JustBSocial people post in many different languages. With LanguageFeed, you decide what you want to see.
How does it work?
Every new post automatically gets a language label (e.g. NL, EN, DE, …).
Then you choose one of these modes:
1. My Language
You mainly see posts in the language of your profile.
Example: If your profile language is English, you’ll mostly see English posts.
2. All Languages
You see everything, in every language.
3. Select Languages
You can pick multiple languages, for example:

Why is this helpful?
✔ Less noise (only content you understand)
✔ Cleaner feed
✔ Full control over which languages you follow
✔ International posts are still available if you want them
Good to know
Your own posts are always visible to you

You can change your settings whenever you like

Daarna werkt berichtgeving op profiel. gebruikers heeft Spaans, Pools etc krijgt dan basis die berichten.

Er zijn zoveel Engels sprekende landen buiten de USA. Die ga ik niet buiten sluiten.
Er zijn gelukkig ook sociale Amerikanen.
Ik vind het interessant om te lezen hoe zij o.a. over de huidige situatie in de USA, Zuid-Amerika, Groenland en overig Europa denken.
Maar Mastodon (het privacy-respecterende alternatief voor X) is voor mij ook een goede bron van informatie.
