Never been to a book swap before? It's simple! Bring along a book you've enjoyed and exchange it for something new to read. It's a fantastic way to discover new authors, share great stories, save books from gathering dust on a shelf, and connect with fellow book lovers in our community.

Whether you're into crime, romance, fantasy, history, biographies or anything in between, everyone is welcome to take part.

If you have some books that you'd like to donate, we would be very grateful.

Your loyal pup is invited to join the fun. 🕕 Dogs are welcome inside until 6:00 PM on Fridays & Saturdays, no restrictions on other days, we provide drinking water for your furry friend, all we ask is that your dog is on a lead and kept under control and does not bother anyone or other dogs.

Grab a well-deserved pint, enjoy a hearty meal, and rest your weary legs in our warm, welcoming atmosphere. No matter how you arrived, you're family here.

At The Surrey Arms, we're proud to announce that our fundraising efforts, alongside those of Moorlands Pub Company Limited, will be dedicated to supporting the Licensed Trade Charity.

For over 200 years, the Licensed Trade Charity has been there for people working within the licensed hospitality sector, providing practical, emotional and financial support when life takes an unexpected turn. Whether someone is facing financial hardship, health challenges, a loss of employment, housing difficulties, or simply needs someone to turn to, the charity is there to help those in our industry when they need it most.

This cause is particularly close to my heart. Recently, I found myself in a position where I needed support and assistance, and the Licensed Trade Charity was there for me during a very difficult period. Their help made a real difference to my life at a time when I needed it most, and for that I will always be grateful.

Because of the support I received, it's important to me that we do our part to give something back and help ensure that others within our industry can access the same lifeline when they need it.

Over the coming months, we'll be hosting fundraising events, collections and activities to raise money for this fantastic charity, and we'd love for our customers, friends and community to get involved.

Together, we can support the people who make our industry what it is.
