Catha Well, you know Trump, he always does what HE wants, not what the people want. And this time i think he has put some preasure on Netanyahu to 'help' him.

Catha Remember, he starts little wars only to be the one 'to bring peace' ... the latter has to be remembered, not the fact that he starten the conflict in the first place.
But i for me think saying zionism is the problema is wrong. Extremism is the problema. Believing in a Jewish homeland is not wrong. They have a right too be there. Netanyahu is extreme zionist, and no matter what you put behind the word extreme, only together it is wrong.

Catha Zionism does not forbid others to live there. There are for example also Christian and besides orthodox Jews also not orthodox Jews. Zionism in itself is not extreme. The people - políticas in this case - MADE it extreme. It's not wrong to believe in your own country/state. Especially because they never had one and were and still are being hunted down.
The Quran litterary sais to kill jews. Not once, not twice, but many times (yes, i've read the quran front to back, for my own reasons).
The start of all this is that the Jews were "parked" there and then left on there own.
So politicians and part of the people over the decades have become (!) extreme. On both sides btw. That's not Zionosm, that's (partially) grown out of the littlw wars because they were not accepted by the Arab countries. Just as extreme right in western countries has grown (also partially) due to the mass immigration of (mainly) muslims.

Catha I don't ageee wirh what has been and still is going on there. But als long as the resolution of Kartoum won't be destroyed, there will never be peace..
(Short: No peace with Israel, no negotiation with Israel,no recognition of Israel.
But in long: there are 5 articles, and the 3 no's is just the very short version signed in 1967 or 68, by the Arab countries.)
