If you've visited The Surrey Arms recently, you may have noticed a few jobs half done, a bit of tidying underway, or the occasional deep clean taking place.

We're working hard behind the scenes to give the pub a well-deserved refresh and tackle some of the jobs that have been on the to-do list for a while. Wherever possible we're carrying out this work before opening, but some tasks inevitably have to be completed during trading hours.

From cleaning and tidying to repairs and general improvements, our aim is simple – to make The Surrey Arms a cleaner, brighter and more welcoming place for everyone to enjoy.

We appreciate that things may not always look perfect whilst we're in the middle of these improvements, but please bear with us. Every little job completed is another step towards creating the community pub that Glossop deserves.
